For the convenience of our clients and health of our horses, our board is all-inclusive with our trainers overseeing every aspect of the horses’ care, providing each horse with an individualized, comprehensive feed, care and training program.

Our goal has always been to treat every horse like our own and provide 5-star care to all the horses at our facility. We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service, clear and timely communication, attention to detail in the care of the horses, and top-notch training.

Our trainers oversee every aspect of the horses’ care, providing each horse with an individualized, comprehensive feed, care, and training program. We strongly believe that happy and health horses perform best and it is the result of the entire program that our horses perform successfully.

Horses at Ascend benefit from daily review of health by the staff and trainer/ management coordinated veterinarian, farrier, and chiropractic programs. Our service providers work closely with each other and trainers to ensure a well-rounded program for your horse.

We understand that clients are busy and have other commitments so it is our goal to provide all necessary care for your horse, regardless of if you can be present or not.

Trainers oversee daily horse care, daily medical care, administration of medications, hand walking for horses on stall rest, blanketing, and anything else necessary to ensure the health and happiness of your horse.

We feed only the highest quality of hay and feed and use high-quality absorbent shavings for the comfort of your horse and our horses benefit from daily private or small group turnout, weather permitting, and regular arena turnout and lunging as necessary.

Our professional staff of grooms bring decades of experience in horse care and a wealth of knowledge to Ascend Equestrian. We employ the best grooms in the industry with years of experience in caring for horses, recognizing illnesses and injuries, and providing medical care to horses in need. We train our working students in proper horse care and horse handling to aid us in our pursuit of excellent horse care. For the safety of your horse, our professional staff members live onsite and are available for night checks in the event of health concerns.

All horses are in full training with Ascend Equestrian training staff and owners have the option to mix and match up to 5 lessons or training rides per week. Our trainers help to design the correct training schedule for you and your horse in order to ensure optimal improvement and advancement for horses and riders.

We understand that life happens and owners may miss lessons. Trainers are available to provide extra training rides in order to ensure that training never lapses and horses are properly exercised each week.

We employ 3 full time trainers to ensure training, lessons, and care of our horses occurs 7 days per week, even when some trainers may be gone at competitions or on vacation- something that is unique to our program and unlike other boarding and training facilities in the area.

Board Includes:

  • Up to 3 group jump lessons OR 2 group jump lessons and 1 training ride per week
  • Training 7 days per week and 4-7 hours per day
  • 3 trainers on staff to ensure lessons and training rides continue when trainers are at shows
  • Supervised hacks/ additional flat lessons free of charge
  • Additional jumping lessons, training rides, and private lessons available for an additional fee
  • Free lunging/ lunging in preparation for lessons
  • Grooming, tacking and other associated care for training rides
  • Grooming, tacking, and untacking for lessons available for an additional fee
  • Weekly course changes with full competition-style courses
  • Indoor and outdoor arenas dragged daily and watered regularly for dust control
  • Individualized feeding programs, including the administration of owner-provided supplements
  • Hay 4x daily, grain 2-3 daily, and watering 3x daily on a consistent set schedule
  • Water buckets and troughs bleached regularly
  • Hay for paddocks in winter months
  • Daily stall cleaning with deeply bedded stalls and private or semi- private turnout
  • Blanketing with changing temperatures
  • Boots, fly gear & fly spray for turnout
  • Injury care, daily horse care, follow up vet care, prescribed hand walks, and administration of medications
  • Daily night check, as well as night checks throughout the night for sick or injured horses
  • Laundry service of wraps and pads
  • Coordination of blanket cleaning and repairs (billed to client)/ blanket storage
  • Coordinated shoeing, veterinary, dental, chiropractic, and maintenance programs (billed to client)
  • Assisting with vet and chiropractic appointments, including emergency appointments
  • Weekly vet/ farrier appointments, monthly chiropractic, and Bemer available daily (billed to client)
  • Professional grooming staff with decades of experience lives onsite for 24/7 supervision
  • Use of select first aid and horse care supplies: fly spray, hoof oil, turpentine, Neosporin, Alusheild, Chlorohexidine, Betadine, Corona, Fungus Treatment (MTG or comparable product), Rubbing Alcohol, Poultice, Epsom Salts, Ichthammol, Tack cleaning supplies (neatsfoot oil, saddle soap, sponges, buckets)
  • Use of select tack & equipment: lead ropes, lunge lines/ whips, towels, coolers, standing wraps/ quilts, saddle pads, surcingle, Pessoa system, draw reins, bungees, chambon, grooming utensils/ brushes, horse vacuum, blow dryers, heating pad, ice boots, and magnetic boots
  • Clients may make use of our extensive tack/ equipment collection prior to purchasing their own: custom bits, flashes, tack/ chain/ crank/ rope nosebands, girths, Equiband, etc.
