2008 Imported Junior Hunter/ Big Eq Horse by Cooper Van De Heffinck
Kalisto (“Enzo”) is a stunning imported Junior Hunter/ Big Eq horse with a scopey jump, huge ground covering stride, and eye-catching presence in the show ring. Enzo loves his job, always wears his ears, and is eager to please. Enzo always jumps a 10 and is a top mover- in 2017 he placed 9th in the under saddle and Junior Hunter Finals- East Coast. Enzo was imported in late 2016 with experience to the 1.20m jumpers in Europe. In 2017, he began his show career in the US, transitioning to the Junior Hunters and Big Eq. At his first show out in the Junior Hunters, he qualified his rider for the Junior Hunter Finals 3’3”. He also has top placings in the Big Eq, First Year Greens, and took his rider to Reserve Champion in the 15-17 Equitation. Enzo is best suited to the hunters due to his scopey jump but can easily double in the equitation and knows all the tricks for the Big Eq- counter canter, lateral work, etc. Enzo is super brave with zero spook or stop and marched right around Junior Hunter Finals without batting an eye. He is straightforward enough for a novice rider yet has all of the scope and quality to take a rider to the top.
